Theater For Everyone
A workshop designed for members of
senior living communities. It is an
opportunity to contribute to your
environment and interact with your
friends and neighbors. With direction and
guidance participating residents work
together to stage a small theatrical
production.

  • Productions will accommodate the
    physical and cognitive abilities of
    the participants who desire to
participate either in the cast or
    behind the scenes.
  • There is a part and an opportunity
    for all workshop participants.
  • Recognizing space limitations, and
    portability needs, scenery will be
    minimal, removable and will meet
    the limitations and requirements of
    your gathering space.
Reading Day
Not everyone wants, is able, or is
interested in the work involved in putting
on a play, but many would like the
stimulation of interaction and generating a
common experience that can be carried
forward in peer relationships.

Like a book group, meeting weekly
Reading Day is a moderated meeting and
discussion based around a piece of
literature, classic or contemporary, short
story or novel. It is an opportunity for
anyone interested to “ham it up.

Reading Days is a perfect, drop-in and
drop-out as available, workshop that no
one has to worry about missing and that
anyone can join at any time. Reading
materials are provided.

Community members and visitors not
participating in the reading are welcome to
listen-in.
